ENTER
NonStop NET/MASTER MS Commands
115412 Tandem Computers Incorporated 2–81
ENTER The ENTER command defines the ENTER key. You can use this command to replace
the normal ENTER key with an ENTER key of your choice.
You can define the normal ENTER key only if you have first defined another key to
function as an ENTER key, by using either the FK or PF command. After you have
defined another key to function as an ENTER key, you can define the normal ENTER
key in the same way as any other function key—except that you cannot define the
ENTER key as an action key.
Entering the ENTER command with no operands restores the ENTER key to its
original value; this is the same as using the ENTER RESET command. You can obtain
a description of the ENTER key setting by using the FK or PF command.

text. The text should correspond to the name of a NonStop NET/MASTER
MS command.
When you press the key, NonStop NET/MASTER MS processes the text
immediately. The text is not displayed in the OCS command input line and
you cannot modify it.
CONV,
text
defines the key as a conversational function key with the associated text. The
text should correspond to the name of a NonStop NET/MASTER MS
command.
When you press the function key, NonStop NET/MASTER MS displays the
text in the OCS command input line. You can then modify the text, or add text
to it. You can execute the command by pressing the key that replaces the
ENTER key.
