LBANNER The LBANNER command sets or erases a NonStop NET/MASTER MS logon screen
banner line. The logon screen has sixteen lines available to display banner lines:
collectively, the individual banner lines are called the logon screen banner. After you
enter the command, you must log off NonStop NET/MASTER MS and redisplay the
logon screen to check that a banner line is correctly set or erased.
You can use this command to change the default logon screen banner and create a
customized logon screen banner, or to display messages that are relevant for all users
when they log on. Entering the LBANNER command with a line number but no text
erases the logon screen banner line at that line number.
LBANNER number [ " banner-text " ]
number
specifies a number from 1 through 16. Each number corresponds to a line on the
logon screen, which has 24 lines available for display. The following screen has
two columns of numbers. The left side shows the position of each logon screen
banner line number. The right side shows the position of each corresponding
logon screen line.
