NonStop NET/MASTER MS Commands

Table 2-8 lists operands of the PARAM command that must occur in a group of
PARAM commands and define the attributes of a specific type of process (for example,
the attributes of a dynamic process include its object file name, its priority, and the
central processing unit resources it can use). If applicable for a specific type of process,
the operand can occur more than once in the group, but the final occurrence in the
group supersedes all earlier occurrences. The PARAM command that defines the
logical name of a specific type of process and terminates a process definition (listed in
Table 2-7) must be the last command in the group.

When defining the attributes of a specific type of process by using the PARAM
command operands listed in Table 2-7 and Table 2-8, the following considerations
apply:
Certain operands are mandatory and must be included in the group of operands
defining the process.
Certain operands are optional and can be included in or excluded from the group
of operands defining the process.
Certain operands are not applicable for the process.
