Considerations
DSNM processes process DSNM commands. DSNM processes are not NonStop
NET/MASTER MS processes. However, they are configured, started, and stopped
by NonStop NET/MASTER MS in the same way as NonStop NET/MASTER MS
processes.
DSNM processes work together cooperatively. Therefore, if you define one
DSNM process, using the PARAM DSNMPROCESS command, you must define
all other required DSNM processes, using the PARAM DSNMPROCESS
command. If you define any DSNM processes, you must also define at least one
command server process, using the PARAM CMDPROCESS command.
If you include the PARAM DSNMPROCESS command in the configuration file to
define your own DSNM process, NonStop NET/MASTER MS does not start any
default DSNM processes.
