FEATUREDISABLE
FEATUREDISABLE={ INMC | ISR | ROC }
disables the specified NonStop NET/MASTER MS feature.
NonStop NET/MASTER MS consists of a set of base services, which includes
Operator Control Services, User ID Management Services, Edit Services, System
Support Services, and so on.
Certain services may never be required by an installation; you can, therefore,
disable them at NonStop NET/MASTER MS startup. Services that can be disabled
are called features. All features are enabled by default. You must explicitly
disable a feature using the PARAM FEATUREDISABLE command if you do not
want it to be used at your installation.
You can disable three features: Inter-NET/MASTER Connection (INMC), Inter-
System Routing (ISR), and Remote Operator Control (ROC).
INMC
disables INMC, ISR, and ROC.
Disabling INMC disables the LINK, SESSION, UNIT, SHOW DOMAINS, and
SHOW LINKS commands; the ISR and SHOW ISR commands; and the
ROUTE, SIGNOFF link-name, and SIGNON link-name commands.
Disabling INMC does not disable the SIGNON command, which refreshes the
NonStop NET/MASTER MS profile of a user.
ISR
disables ISR. Disabling ISR disables the ISR and SHOW ISR commands.
ROC
disables ROC. Disabling ROC disables the ROUTE, SIGNOFF link-name, and
SIGNON link-name commands.
Disabling ROC does not disable the SIGNON command, which refreshes the
NonStop NET/MASTER MS profile of a user.
