This section summarizes NonStop NET/MASTER Management Services (MS)
commands in a series of tables:
Table 1-1 summarizes NonStop NET/MASTER MS commands with a brief
description.
Table 1-2 describes the guidelines used for assigning default command and
operand authority levels.
Table 1-3 tabulates NonStop NET/MASTER MS command and operand default
authority levels. (Operands not listed have a default authority level of 0.)

Overview of NonStop
NET/MASTER MS
Commands
A NonStop NET/MASTER MS command is a word or abbreviation that describes an
action and tells NonStop NET/MASTER MS to perform that action. You use NonStop
NET/MASTER MS commands to control NonStop NET/MASTER MS, the Tandem
system on which NonStop NET/MASTER MS is running, and remote systems to
which NonStop NET/MASTER MS is linked.
In an operations environment, a wide range of functions are available through
NonStop NET/MASTER MS commands. Examples of operations you can perform
include the following:
Customize user profiles
Write and execute NCL procedures and control the execution of NCL processes
Run Guardian utilities and TACL routines and macros
Monitor and control network objects
Examine the NonStop NET/MASTER MS activity log
Display status information
Respond to event messages
