RETURN The RETURN command returns you to the top-level NonStop NET/MASTER MS
primary menu from Operator Control Services (OCS). A primary menu is a menu
denoted by the display of a user ID and time on the right side of the screen. NonStop
NET/MASTER MS has more than one primary menu: the top-level NonStop
NET/MASTER MS primary menu, which appears when you log on to NonStop
NET/MASTER MS; the User ID Management Services (UMS) primary menu; the
System Support Services primary menu; and so on. This means that a primary menu
may appear under another primary menu.
This command is also assigned by default to the F4 function key; for this reason, this
function key is called the RETURN key. You can use the RETURN key to return to the
inner-most primary menu in a hierarchy of menus from most locations in NonStop
NET/MASTER MS (not only from OCS).
When you exit from OCS, the following occurs:
Your command processing environment is dismantled.
Your current profile values are reset (except the value specified by the PROFILE
INITCMD command).
Your local function key definitions are reset to global values.
Your local equates are deleted.
Any paused NCL processes are flushed.
Any Guardian processes you have created in OCS by using the OPSYS SEND
command are terminated.
Any queued SIGNON link-name commands to remote systems are removed.
