NonStop NET/MASTER MS Commands

Refer to the NonStop NET/MASTER MS System Management Guide for more
information on using the SHUTDOWN command from TACL.
This command does not stop processes that are not started by NonStop
NET/MASTER MS. This includes the DSNM command server, conversational
interface, and security exit processes if they are started externally to NonStop
NET/MASTER MS.
For related information, see the FSTOP, SHUTDOWN $ABEND$, and STATUS
commands.
Examples
1. The following example begins an orderly NonStop NET/MASTER MS shutdown
sequence:
SHUTDOWN
2. The following example stops and reverses a shutdown sequence initiated using
the SHUTDOWN command:
SHUTDOWN CANCEL
3. The following example, executed from TACL, begins an orderly NonStop
NET/MASTER MS shutdown sequence :
NNM $ZNNM SHUTDOWN
