NonStop NET/MASTER MS Commands

SUBMIT command to enter a command is equivalent to entering the command on
a logical keyboard for these virtual users.
To receive the results of a command submitted to a virtual user, you must set your
OCS profile so that you can receive unsolicited, monitor-class messages. You must
use both of the following commands to do so:
PROFILE MONMSG=YES
PROFILE UNSOL=YES
A message from BMON is prefixed by the letter M, from EMSP by the letter E, and
from LOGP by the letter L, when it is displayed on an OCS window.
Table 2-18 summarizes the main job of the virtual users, including where each
sends the results of NonStop NET/MASTER MS commands.

Background Monitor (BMON) Executes NonStop NET/MASTER MS

are preceded by the letter M.
Background System Process (BSYS) Executes the INIT and READY NCL
procedures during NonStop NET/MASTER
MS startup.

(EMSP)
Controls the EMSPROC NCL procedure. Terminals of monitor-class users and the
activity log. When displayed, messages
are preceded by the letter E.
Activity Log Process (LOGP) Controls the LOGPROC NCL procedure. Terminals of monitor-class users and the
activity log. When displayed, messages
are preceded by the letter L.
