SESSMSG
SESSMSG={ YES | NO }
determines whether NonStop NET/MASTER MS issues any session trace
messages.
YES
instructs NonStop NET/MASTER MS to issue session trace messages when a
physical connection to a remote system succeeds (the status is active) or when
a physical connection to a remote system fails (the status is inactive).
If a unit fails, NonStop NET/MASTER MS attempts to open a link indefinitely
at intervals specified by the UNIT CONNECTDELAY command until either
the link is opened or you issue a LINK STOP or LINK RESET command. The
session level in a link displays session trace messages indicating the results of
its attempts.
NO
instructs NonStop NET/MASTER MS not to issue any session trace messages.
Consideration
Each unit in a link attempts to establish a physical connection with its corresponding
unit on a remote system. You can use this operand to determine whether a session
level in a link monitors the status of its units and reports on the results. The status of
the physical connection is either active or inactive.
