Sending a BREAK Message
to a Utility
Issue an OPSYS BREAK command to send a BREAK message to a utility. This is the
equivalent of pressing the BREAK key when you are interacting with a utility running
in the foreground. If you are in the Command Entry facility, you can use the SF13
function key to issue the command.
How the BREAK message affects the behavior of the utility depends on the particular
utility.
