Listing User IDs With
Access to Utility
Maintenance Services
To view a list of the user IDs that have access to the Utility Maintenance Services
commands, follow these steps:
1. Move to the User ID Management Services : Primary Menu panel.
2. Type Z at the Select Option prompt, and press the ENTER key.
There is no separate facility for browsing a list of user IDs with access to Utility
Maintenance Services; the information is available by moving to the Utility
Maintenance Users panel.
3. View the list of users on the Utility Maintenance Users panel.
4. When you have finished viewing the panel, press F12.
F12 issues the CANCEL command, which returns you to the User ID Management
Services : Primary Menu panel.
Removing Access to Utility
Maintenance Services
To remove a user ID’s access to Utility Maintenance Services, follow these steps:
1. Move to the Utility Maintenance Users panel.
2. Position the cursor in the field that contains the user ID you want to remove.
3. Use the space bar to write blank spaces over the user ID.
If you want to replace one user ID with another, type the new user ID over the
user ID that you want to remove.
4. To activate the change that you made, press the F3 function key.
If there are no errors, NonStop NET/MASTER MS changes the entry, returns you
to the panel from which you entered the Utility Maintenance Users panel, and
displays the following notification message on the third line of the panel:
NNM2350 UTILITY MAINTENANCE USERS LIST UPDATED
The change takes effect immediately.
