Establishing NCL Queues
for Your NonStop
NET/MASTER MS System
To establish NCL queues for your NonStop NET/MASTER MS system, determine the
number, names, and execution limits of the NCL queues distributed with NonStop
NET/MASTER MS. Then gather information about NCL use on your system in the
following areas:
The number of NCL processes executing at various times during each day and
various days during each week
The number of environments (including background processing environments
and dependent processing environments) that can execute NCL procedures
The execution frequency and execution duration of significant NCL processes
The relative importance of the types of operations performed by significant NCL
processes
The number of NCL programmers who develop NCL procedures
The classes of users (system manager, network manager, security administrator,
operator, and so on) that execute NCL procedures
The types of automation operations performed by NCL processes
