Determines which NonStop NET/MASTER MS
command is used to start a session with the
external utility; the field is required.
If O, a user starts a session by
using the OPSYS command; if P,
a user starts a session by using
the PROGRUN command.

File/Macro
Name
Specifies the location of the utility’s object
program file or, in the case of TACL macros, file
or variable name; the field is required.
Up to 53 characters; file names
must include the volume and
subvolume; a TACL variable
name must include TACL
directory name.

Startup Text Specifies a startup parameter when the utility is
started. For example, if you normally specify a
utility’s backup CPU as a startup parameter
(following the last slash of any run options),
include the backup CPU in this field.

TACL Macro? Specifies whether the utility is an executable
program or a TACL macro.

Command
Separator
Identifies the character used to delimit
commands submitted to the utility; used for
utilities that can accept multiple commands in a
single input line. If the utility is started by
sending a command line to TACL, the contents
of this field are ignored, and NonStop
NET/MASTER MS uses the TACL command
separator of “;” to delimit the commands. In this
case, the second and subsequent commands
are TACL commands.
