2. Press the ENTER key. If you enter more than one action code, the actions are
processed according to the following order of operations:
Any records marked for deletion are deleted.
When NonStop NET/MASTER MS deletes records, it highlights the records

NNM2178 PRESS ENTER TO CONFIRM DELETES OR CANCEL KEY TO
CANCEL DELETE REQUESTS
If you proceed with the delete operation, NonStop NET/MASTER MS writes a
notification message on the third line of the panel. If you delete more than one
command set, the notification message contains the name of the last utility
command set deleted.
Remaining update and copy operations, if any are indicated, are then executed
serially, according to the order of appearance on the UMS : Utility Command
Set List panel.
For each operation indicated, the UMS : Utility Command Set Details panel
appears as it would if you entered the utility name and type on the UMS :
Utility Command Set Maintenance Menu panel. Add or change information
on the UMS : Utility Command Set Details panel and issue the FILE command
to submit the new information.
If the FILE command completes execution, the UMS : Utility Command Set
List panel returns, unless you apply commands to more than one utility
command set definition. If you specify an action code for more than one
record, after the FILE or CANCEL command executes, you are moved to the
UMS : Utility Command Set Details panel for the next operation you
indicated. You proceed through each operation until all action codes have
been processed.
When the UMS : Utility Command Set List panel returns, if any delete, copy, or
update actions were selected, the notification message for the last-executed
operation appears on the third line of the panel. Each action that changed the
database is logged in the activity log, but only the last operation is evident in the
notification message.
If you issue a scrolling command with action codes in the selection fields, NonStop
NET/MASTER MS issues the specified commands before executing the scroll
command. Alternatively, action codes are not executed when you issue the HELP,
SPLIT, EXIT, RETURN, or SWAP commands.
