Field Description Valid Values
Configuration Specifies the configuration to which your
operations apply. The value in the field is
carried over from the UMS : Console Extras
Configuration Menu panel and is for display
only.
If a valid NonStop NET/MASTER MS user ID, the operation applies
only to the Console Extras definitions for the specified user.
If the value is CUSTOMIZED, the operation applies to the Console
Extras definitions that have been added to your site for system-wide
access.
If the value is DEFAULT, the operation applies to Console Extras
definitions in the distributed Console Extras definition database.
Only the BROWSE and LIST options can be used with the
DEFAULT configuration definitions.
Utility Name The word or words users normally type to
start a session with an external utility. The
value in the field is carried over from the
UMS : Console Extras Configuration Menu
panel and is for display only.
Up to 12 alphanumeric characters and underscores. The utility must
contain a corresponding record in a utility definition database.
Description A brief description of the utility. The text in
this field appears adjacent to the utility name
on the Console Extras : Utility List panel.
Up to 52 displayable characters and blank spaces.
File Name Specifies the location of the utility’s object
program file; the field is for display only.
The information in this field comes from the utility definition record
for the utility.
Startup Text Specifies a startup parameter when the utility
is started. For example, if you normally
specify a utility’s backup CPU as a startup
parameter (following the last slash of any run
options), include the backup CPU in this field.

The information in this field comes from the utility definition record
for the utility.
Support
Terminals
Specifies the kinds of terminals with which the
utility can be used. This field is required.
If the value is 6530, the utility can be used with Tandem 6530 and
compatible terminals, including workstations running 6530 emulation
software.
If the value is 3270, the utility can be used with IBM 3270 and
compatible terminals, including workstations running 3270 emulation
software.
If the value is BOTH, the utility can be used with both 6530 and
3270 and compatible terminals.
CPU The CPU in which the utility program
executes. This field is for display only.
The information in this field comes from the utility definition record
for the utility.
Priority Specifies the execution priority of the utility
program. This field is for display only.
The information in this field comes from the utility definition record
for the utility.
Process
Name
Gives the name of the utility program process.
This field is for display only.

for the utility.
