Applying Commands From
the UMS : Console Extras
Utility List Panel
You can apply commands to Console Extras definitions from the UMS : Console Extras
Utility List panel. The following instructions apply:
1. Select one or more definitions for action by typing an action code to the left of the
utility name.
You can mark several entries. All specified operations are executed. Valid action
codes include the following:
B or S BROWSE command, which displays the marked Console Extras definition
but prohibits modification of data in it.
D DELETE command, which deletes the marked Console Extras definition.
U UPDATE command, which displays the marked Console Extras definition
and allows you to modify data in it.
2. Press the ENTER key.
When the command specified by the action code completes, the UMS : Console
Extras Utility List panel reappears. If you mark more than one definition with an
action code, each definition is displayed and processed in order until the last
selected definition is processed. All delete operations are processed first; then,
browse and update operations are processed in the order of the definition to which
the action code is applied.
When the UMS : Console Extras Utility List panel reappears, if any delete or
update actions were processed, the notification message for the last-executed
operation appears on the third line of the panel. Each delete or update operation
is logged to the activity log.
