DELIVER RU Construction
The DELIVER RU is constructed in the standard format defined for use by VTAM.
The PU information is provided by NonStop NET/MASTER MS and is used by the
SOLVE management services or NetView to indicate NM as a COMC resource. The
hierarchy reported below is built using the appropriate hierarchy name or resource
subvectors. This provides for the greatest degree of pictorial resource representation
as provided by the SOLVE management services or the NetView display.
The fields constructed for NMVT/RECFMS delivery through ISR are as follows:
PU Name = ZEMS_TKN_NODENAME or ZEMS_TKN_CRTPID
Hierarchy Resource/Name Construction
In addition to the DELIVER hierarchy, NonStop NET/MASTER MS creates a
Hierarchy Resource/Name List consisting of elements described in Table 9-11.
Table 9-11. Hierarchy Resource/Name List
Resource List Elements
Service point (SP) NNM
CPU name = node name ZEMS_TKN_NODENAME or
ZEMS_TKN_CRTPID or
ZCOM_TKN_SUBJ_LINE or (node name)
ZCOM_TKN_SUBJ_PU or (node name)
ZCOM_TKN_SUBJ_LU or (node name)
Program name Line or ZEMS_TKN_CRTPID (program process name or CRT,
PID).
Line name ZCOM_TKN_SUBJ_LINE (line process name)
ZCOM_TKN_SUBJ_PU (line process name)
Controller name PU name or ZCOM_TKN_SUBJ_PU
Device name LU name or ZCOM_TKN_SUBJ_LU
Action Events Emphasis As action events (action-attention) are received, they are converted to a non-roll-delete
(NRD) message so that the OCS interface can process the event as a standard NRD
message. NonStop NET/MASTER MS “remembers” the action-NRD as forwarded to
OCS or ISR and deletes the NRD when the originating subsystem determines that the
situation is being ameliorated. The action-NRD can also be removed when an OCS
PURGE NRD command is issued.
This processing is controlled by the EMSNRD operand of the SYSPARMS command.
Also, an option exists for the creation of an NRD by using the EMSNRD operand to
place an emphasized event in the OCS NRD area.
