2 Starting NonStop NET/MASTER

After running the REPSUBSYS phase of the Install program, which copies files to the
installation subvolumes (ISVs), you can start NonStop NET/MASTER Management
Services (MS) by using a default startup configuration. This default startup
configuration enables you to start NonStop NET/MASTER MS, study its components,
and work with it before configuring it for prolonged testing or for use in a production
environment. Refer to the Install User’s Guide for additional information about the
Install program.
Note Before you start NonStop NET/MASTER MS for the first time, please read this entire section.
The first parts of this section provide instructions for starting NonStop NET/MASTER
MS with the default startup configuration, including some tips on what to do if you
experience difficulties while starting NonStop NET/MASTER MS. The section also
discusses these topics:
Shutting down NonStop NET/MASTER MS
Reinstalling NonStop NET/MASTER MS
Starting multiple NonStop NET/MASTER MS systems on a node
