3. Press the F3 function key.
NonStop NET/MASTER MS returns you to the User ID Management Services :
Primary Menu panel and displays the following message on the third line of the
panel:
NNM2350 UTILITY MAINTENANCE USERS LIST UPDATED
If you entered anything other than the user ID created in Task 1 of this phase,
NonStop NET/MASTER MS highlights the field that contains the erroneous data
and displays an error message on the third line of the panel. If that happens, enter
the correct user ID in the field below the User ID heading, and press the F3
function key.
Phase 4: Add an
Operator User ID
Definition Record
After you have added the security administrator’s user ID definition record, you can
create as many other user ID definition records as you wish. If you are starting
NonStop NET/MASTER MS for the first time, add an operator’s user ID definition
record:
1. Repeat the steps in Task 1 of Phase 3, with these differences:
In Step 4, name the user ID something other than SCTYADMN. The example
here uses DERRIDA.
In Step 9, you may want to assign a different (probably lower) level command
authority level. See Section 4, “Managing User Access and Privileges,” for
guidance.
In Step 12, do not grant access to UMS Management, and be sure to grant OCS
access.
2. If you are at the User ID Management Services : Primary Menu panel, press the F3
function key.
When logged on with the INSTALL user ID, you can use only User ID
Management Services. You must exit and log on again (Phase 5) before you can
perform Phase 6. The instructions for Phase 5 appear in the next subsection.
When logged on with the INSTALL user ID, pressing the F3 function key from the
User ID Management Services : Primary Menu panel logs you off NonStop
NET/MASTER MS.
See Section 4, “Managing User Access and Privileges,” for additional information
about all data entered in a user ID definition record.
