Accessing a NonStop
NET/MASTER MS
System on a Remote
Node
You can access a NonStop NET/MASTER MS system on a remote node by using the
NNM program. The syntax of the NNM program is shown here:
[ RUN ] NNM \
system
[ .$
pxxx
]
\
system
specifies the name of the node on which the NonStop NET/MASTER MS system is
running. The default value is the name of the local node.
$
pxxx
specifies the name of the NCP for the NonStop NET/MASTER MS system, as
described in “Running the NCP Program,” earlier in this section. The default
name of the NCP is $ZNNM.
For example, to log on to the default NonStop NET/MASTER MS system, whose NCP
is named $ZNNM, on \GRINNEL, issue the following command at the TACL prompt:
NNM \GRINNEL
To log on to the NonStop NET/MASTER MS system whose NCP is named $ANNM,
issue the following command at the TACL prompt:
NNM \GRINNEL.$ANNM
To access the same system from within NonStop NET/MASTER MS, issue this
command at the OCS command input line:
PROGRUN FILE=NNM PARAMS=\GRINNEL
