Cause. A PROFILE command was issued, and the message is part of the response. The
line contains information about the TRUNC operand. TRUNC specifies whether
messages longer than the width of an OCS window, should be truncated or wrapped
to the next line.

is the value of the operand.
text
is part of the operand description.
The message text is one of the following:
(TRUNC=NO....) MESSAGES ARE NOT TRUNCATED.
(TRUNC=YES...) MESSAGES ARE TRUNCATED.
(TRUNC=WORD..) MESSAGES ARE TRUNCATED AT WORD BOUNDARIES.
(TRUNC=FLAG..) MESSAGES ARE TRUNCATED AND FLAGGED.
(TRUNC=FLAGWO) MESSAGES ARE TRUNCATED AT WORD BOUNDARIES AND
FLAGGED.
Effect. The information about TRUNC is retrieved and displayed.
Recovery. This message is informational only; no recovery action is necessary.
NNM0397 USERID NOT AUTHORIZED TO RECEIVE MON MESSAGES
Cause. A PROFILE MONMSG= command was issued but the UMS record does not
allow the user to receive monitor-class messages.
Effect. The request is refused.
Recovery. If necessary, update the UMS record to allow the user to receive monitor-
class messages.
