The password is not the same as, or a subset of, the concatenated user name. For
example, if the user name is Russell Lucas, then passwords such as russell, rus,
lucas, and lluca are invalid.
The user name components do not form part of the password. For example, if the
the user name is Russell Lucas, the components are Russell and Lucas, and
passwords such as russello, trussell, and rlucas are invalid.
Not the initials of the user's name.
Not more than two consecutive repeating characters: for example, aa is valid but
aaa is invalid.
Effect. The password is not changed.
Recovery. Retry with a correct value for the new password.
NNM0763 NEW USERID userid INVALID, REENTER
Cause. A SECCALL ADD verb was issued but an invalid user ID was specified. A
user ID must be one through eight characters long, and contain only alphanumeric
characters, @, #, or $.
userid is the invalid user ID.
Effect. The user ID is not added.
Recovery. Retry with a correct user ID.
NNM0764 USERID userid DEFINITION ALREADY EXISTS
Cause. An attempt was made to add a user ID to the NonStop NET/MASTER MS
system. However, the user ID is already in use. User IDs must be unique.
userid is the ID of the user that already exists.
Effect. The user ID is not added.
Recovery. Specify a user ID that is not already defined in the system. You can use the
User ID Management Services to list the user IDs defined in the system.
NNM0765 PASSWORD CHANGED FOR userid
Cause. An attempt to change the password was successful.
userid is the ID of the user whose password was changed.
Effect. The password is changed.
Recovery. This message is informational only; no recovery action is necessary.
