NNM0976 NO HELP AVAILABLE
Cause. You requested help on an event message, but the help information is available
neither in the ZHLPCVP UDB (if configured) nor in the EMS event help file specified
in the EMSEVENTTD system parameter.
Effect. No help information is displayed.
Recovery. Check the source of the EMS event help information, as follows:
If you use two files to provide help on EMS event messages, issue the SHOW UDB
command to check that the ZHLPCVP UDB is available. If the UDB does not exist,
issue the following command to open the UDB:
UDBCTL OPEN=
file-name
ID=ZHLPCVP INPUT
file-name
identifies the file to be opened as the customized event help UDB.
Issue the SHOW SYSPARMS=EMSEVENTTD command to ensure that the system
parameter points to the correct primary EMS event help file. If the file name is
incorrect, issue the SYSPARMS EMSEVENTTD=file-name command to change the
file.
file-name
identifies the new event help file to use.
If these actions do not correct the problem, then, depending on whether the event
message is from a non-Tandem or Tandem subsystem, you can take one of the
following actions:
If the event message is from a non-Tandem subsystem, you can add the missing
help information in the event help file.
If the event message is from a Tandem subsystem, contact your Tandem support
representative, providing the ID of the event message on which you need help.
NNM0977 UNKNOWN SUBSYSTEM
Cause. You requested help on an event message, but the event message ID starts with
a 3-character subsystem name that is not known to NonStop NET/MASTER MS.
Effect. No help information is displayed.
Recovery. If you specified the wrong 3-character subsystem name, correct it. If you
want to make a new subsystem name known to NonStop NET/MASTER MS, add the
subsystem to the current nonresident template file. (Refer to the NonStop
NET/MASTER MS System Management Guide for instructions.)
