NNM0040 TRACE COLLECTOR process_name NOT STARTED. UNABLE TO OBTAIN
LOCK FOR TRACEID
Cause. A TRACE START command was issued but the trace collector could not be
started because a unique trace ID could not be allocated due to an inability to obtain a
global memory manager (GMM) lock.
process_name is the name of the trace collector process.
Effect. The command is ignored.
Recovery. Retry the command at a later time.
NNM0041 TRACE COLLECTOR process_name NOT STARTED. MAXIMUM RUNNING
TRACES REACHED
Cause. A TRACE START command was issued but the trace collector could not be
started because the maximum number of traces in progress had been reached.
process_name is the name of the trace collector process.
Effect. The command is ignored.
Recovery. Issue TRACE STOP=trace_id on a trace collector in progress and reissue the
TRACE START command.
NNM0042 TRACE COLLECTOR process_name NOT STARTED. MEMORY SHORTAGE
Cause. A TRACE START command was issued but the trace collector could not be
started because of a memory shortage.
process_name is the name of the trace collector process.
Effect. The command is ignored.
Recovery. Retry the command at a later time.
