NNM2905 VALUE SPECIFIED FOR TERMNAME OPERAND WAS TOO LONG -
terminal-name
Cause. An OPSC command was issued, but the value specified for the TERMNAME
operand was longer than 24 characters. The command was DEFLINK or REPLINK.
terminal-name
is the value specified for the TERMNAME operand. This
operand specifies the RSC terminal name.
Effect. The command is rejected.
Recovery. Replace the value with a shorter RSC terminal name, and retry the
command.
Note that a valid RSC terminal name must include the $TDP process name to make it
unique, followed by a dot (.), and then the actual RSC name, which can be up to 15
characters long.
NNM2906 TERMNAME OR TERMMASK REQUIRED FOR RSC PROTOCOL OPSC LINK
Cause. A DEFLINK or REPLINK command was issued to define, or redefine, an RSC
protocol OPSC link, but neither the TERMNAME nor the TERMMASK operand was
specified. Note that the protocol, defined with the PROTOCOL operand, defaults to
RSC.
Effect. The command is rejected.
Recovery. Specify either an RSC terminal name with the TERMNAME operand, or a
generic mask to match a group of RSC terminal names with the TERMMASK operand,
and retry the command.
