NNM0082 FATAL INMC UNIT ERROR LINK=
linkname

Cause. A fatal input-output error occurred on an LU0 or X.25 device.
linkname
is the name of the INMC link.
devname
is the name of the device that caused the error.
errno
is the Guardian file-system error number.
Effect. The unit whose device encountered the error becomes inoperative and will not
be used for any further INMC traffic. If this was the only unit used by the INMC link,
then the entire link will now become inactive.
Recovery. Use the error number to determine the action to take. The link should be
reset and restarted using the LINK RESET and LINK START commands once the
problem has been resolved.

Cause. An input-output error that resulted in automatic recovery occurred on an LU0
or X.25 device.
linkname
is the name of the INMC link.
devname
is the name of the device that caused the error.
errno
is the Guardian file-system error number.
Effect. The unit whose device encountered the error remains in service and the input-
output operation that caused the error will be retried until one of the following occurs:
The operation becomes successful.
A LINK STOP or LINK RESET command is executed.
Recovery. Recovery by the INMC software is automatic. If the error is persistent, then
the link should be reset and restarted using the LINK RESET and LINK START
commands once the cause of the fault has been resolved.
