unitname
Cause. This message appears after a LINK START command was issued. The INMC
software was validating the configuration of the link that it was asked to start. It
found that the type of the device specified in the DEVICE setting of the unit definition
was not consistent with the TYPE setting of the session definition under which the unit
was configured.
For example, the name of an X.25 device was given in a unit definition, but the unit
was configured under an SNALU0 session.
type
is the type of the session: PTP, SNALU0, or X25.
linkname
is the name of the INMC link to be started.
unitname
is the name of the unit that was incorrectly defined.
Effect. The INMC subsystem suspends any processing for the unit. Other units are
allowed to start if their configurations are correctly entered.
Recovery. To use all the units defined for the link, use the LINK RESET command to
reset the link. Correct the unit definitions, then use the LINK START command to
restart the link.
