The #FLD panel control statement defines a field character—the question mark
(?)—that causes the values of the system variables &SYS.USER.ID and
&SYS.DATE.2 to blink and appear in blue on your screen.
Note The indicators in bold type (the line at the top of the screen and the arrows and numbers at the right of the
screen) are not part of the panel. These are provided so you can compare the position of the text in the
panel with the position of the text in the panel description file.
