You can also specify what needs to be changed in the environmental profile for a
message handler that uses the ruleset (effective only if you start the message handler
as a MSGPROC, or as an INT-type message handler in the current or a background
environment).
When you first create a ruleset, the ruleset contains the control options record and, if
you specify the environmental profile changes, the profile record. Once you create a
ruleset, you can add rules to the ruleset. You can also perform the following on the
ruleset (see Section 6, “Updating and Maintaining Rulesets, Rules, and Command
Groups”):
Add command groups
Modify the control options
Modify the environmental profile
Add the function key settings
Figure 5-1 shows the panels you encounter when creating a ruleset.
Create a ruleset as follows:
1. From the NonStop NET/MASTER MS primary menu panel, select option R to
access RMS Services. The NonStop NET/MASTER RMS primary menu panel
appears.
2. From the NonStop NET/MASTER RMS primary menu panel, select option 5 to
access Ruleset Maintenance. The RMS : Ruleset Maintenance panel appears.
