Managing Default Rulesets

Proceed as follows to perform these maintenance functions:
1. At any => prompt, type =R.4 and press ENTER to access Default Ruleset
Allocation. The RMS : Default Ruleset Allocation panel appears.
2. Specify the user ID to identify the allocation in the Selection Key field as follows:
Specify the user ID. A panel appears listing the default ruleset allocation for
that user ID.
Specify a partial text string. A selection list panel appears listing the default
ruleset allocations in alphabetic order starting with the first user ID that starts
with the partial text string.
Leave the field blank. A selection list panel appears listing all the default
ruleset allocations.
3. Select option 2 to access Display/Modify/Delete/Add With Model. A selection
list panel appears.
4. Type the appropriate action codes next to the allocations on which you want to act
and press ENTER. The action codes are as follows:
For action code A (Add With Model), the Default Ruleset Allocation definition
panel appears. Specify the user ID of the user to whom you want to allocate a
default ruleset in the Region Owner field. You can allocate a different default
ruleset than that displayed by changing the name of the default ruleset in the
Default Ruleset field. Press F3 to file the new definition. A message confirms
the success of the operation.
For action code S (Select), the Default Ruleset Allocation definition panel
appears. Change the name of the default ruleset in the Default Ruleset field to
allocate a different default ruleset to the user. Press F3 to file the new
definition. A message confirms the success of the operation.
For action code C (Comment), the RMS : Comments Maintenance panel
appears. Add or update the comments on the panel and then press F3 to file
the new comments.
For action code D (Delete), a message appears prompting you to confirm the
deletion of the allocations.
Note If you change your mind and do not want to delete the selected allocations, cancel the deleting operation
by pressing F12 and do not press ENTER to confirm the deletion.
Press ENTER to confirm the deletion. A record is flagged as **DELETED** if
the operation is successful.
For action code P (Print), an inset appears prompting for the spooler location.
Specify the following:
Name of the spooler location in the LOCATION field. The default is
$S.#RMS.
