Note You can issue the REFRESH ON or REFRESH seconds command at the Command prompt on the
RMS : Active Message Subjects panel to enable automatic refresh of the information on the panel.
You can also use the RMS DISPLAY ACTIVE command from an OCS window or
the ZRMSAPIN ( GETACTIVE ) procedure call from a user NCL procedure to,
respectively, display or retrieve information about active subjects. For more
information on using RMS commands and procedure calls, see Appendix B, “RMS
Commands,” and Appendix C, “RMS Procedure Calls,” respectively.
3. Type the appropriate action codes next to the subject to act on and press ENTER.
The action codes are as follows:
Use the action code S to show the queued rule actions on an active subject. See
“Displaying the Details of an Active Message Subject and Deleting its Rule
Actions,” later in this section, for more information.
You can also use the RMS DISPLAY QUEUED command from an OCS
window or the ZRMSAPIN ( GETQUEUED ) procedure call from a user NCL
procedure to, respectively, display or retrieve limited information about
queued rule actions. For more information on using RMS commands and
procedure calls, see Appendix B, “RMS Commands,” and Appendix C, “RMS
Procedure Calls,” respectively.
Use the action code F to freeze subjects.
Use the action code D to delete the rule actions of active subjects. A message
appears prompting you to confirm the deletion.
Note If you change your mind and do not want to delete the rule actions of the selected subjects, cancel the
deleting operation by pressing F12 and do not press ENTER to confirm the deletion.
Press ENTER to confirm the deletion. The flag **DELETED** indicates a
successful deletion.
You can also use the RMS DELETE ACTIVE command from an OCS window
or the ZRMSAPIN ( DELACTIVE ) procedure call from a user NCL procedure
to delete active subjects. For more information on using RMS commands and
procedure calls, see Appendix B, “RMS Commands,” and Appendix C, “RMS
Procedure Calls,” respectively.
Use the action code FD to freeze active subjects and delete the associated rule
actions.
