You can also use the RMS DISPLAY DELAYED command from an OCS
window or the ZRMSAPIN ( GETDELAYED ) procedure call from a user NCL
procedure to, respectively, display or retrieve detailed information about
delayed message actions. For more information on using RMS commands and
procedure calls, see Appendix B, “RMS Commands,” and Appendix C, “RMS
Procedure Calls,” respectively.
Use the action code D to delete actions. A message appears prompting you to
confirm the deletion of the actions.
Note If you change your mind and do not want to delete the selected actions, cancel the deleting operation by
pressing F12 and do not press ENTER to confirm the deletion.
Press ENTER to confirm the deletion. The flag **DELETED** indicates a
successful deletion.
You can also use the RMS DELETE DELAYED command from an OCS
window or the ZRMSAPIN ( DELDELAYED ) procedure call from a user NCL
procedure to delete delayed message actions. For more information on using
RMS commands and procedure calls, see Appendix B, “RMS Commands,”
and Appendix C, “RMS Procedure Calls,” respectively.
Activating and Inactivating
Message Action Rules
You can activate or inactivate one or more message action rules in a ruleset. The
action changes the Status field in the rule definition and updates the RMS database.
(When you activate or inactivate a rule, the rule retains the status even when you
restart the system.) If a message handler is using the ruleset, the changes are made
immediately available to the handler. Figure 9-5 shows the panels encountered when
activating and inactivating rules.
