RMS can capture the following statistics on the messages received by a message
handler:
Total number of messages received
Number of times a message is received by message ID (also expressed as a

Message Flow
Environments
You use the RMS message handler in different ways to process messages in different
NonStop NET/MASTER MS environments. Figure 1-2 shows the message flows in
NonStop NET/MASTER MS and shows how the RMS message handlers fit into the
NonStop NET/MASTER MS environment.
Messages external to the NonStop NET/MASTER MS system (which can be local or
remote system messages) are received by the EMSPROC message handler that reads
the messages and routes them for further action. These messages and your NonStop
NET/MASTER MS messages can be routed to the LOGPROC message handler, the
MSGPROC message handlers, and message handlers that execute in a current or
background environment. The message handlers process different types of message
flow according to the different execution environments.
