Recovery. Change the invalid value to a value that contains only alphanumeric, @, #,
and $ characters before requesting the action again. Alphanumeric characters are A
through Z, a through z, and 0 through 9.
RMS0034 MUST BE ALPHANUMERIC, STARTING WITH ALPHA
Cause. You specified an invalid value in a field on your panel. The field requires a
value that starts with an alphabetic character and contains only alphanumeric, @, #,
and $ characters.
Effect. The value is not accepted. The action is not performed.
Recovery. Change the invalid value to a value that starts with an alphabetic character,
and contains only alphanumeric, @, #, and $ characters, before requesting the action
again. Alphabetic characters are A through Z and a through z. Alphanumeric
characters are A through Z, a through z, and 0 through 9.
RMS0035

CANCELED
Cause. You canceled the operation during the addition or modification of a message in
a saved message set.
function-name
is either ADD or MODIFY.
Effect. The operation is canceled.
Recovery. This message is informational only; no recovery action is necessary.
RMS0100 INTERNAL RMS ERROR
Cause. An error occurred in the internal processing of RMS.
Effect. If this message appears on an RMS panel, then the last function you requested
was not completed successfully. If this message appears in the processing
environment of a message handler, then the message handler failed to process a
message successfully. The problem may occur only for the particular condition; other
RMS functions may still be available.
This message is written to the NonStop NET/MASTER MS activity log, your terminal,
and all monitor-class users. One or more RMS0101 error messages are also written to
the log, giving further details of the error.
Recovery. Contact your Tandem support representative and provide the following:
Version of RMS that was being used
Details of the events leading up to the display of the error
Copy of RMS database
Copy of activity log
