Recovery. This message is a warning only; no recovery action is necessary. If the
message handler uses rules that process event messages EMS0001 through EMS0511
(for example, some rules in the BASERULE ruleset) and you want to use the name of
the device in the message as the subject, correct the problem identified by a previously
logged NonStop NET/MASTER MS message (usually a command authority or DSNM
availability problem), and restart the message handler. If you do not correct the
problem, the subject of the message becomes $ldev where ldev is the logical device
number in the message.
RMS1031 TIMER NOT ACTIVATED - TIMER STATUS NOT PENDING
Cause. A message triggered a message action rule that attempted to activate a timer,
but the status of the associated time-based rule is not PENDING. The timer could not
be activated.
Effect. The timer is not activated.
Recovery. Change the status of the time-based rule to PENDING through the
Time-Based Rule Definition panel.
RMS1032 ACTIVE TIMER DELETION FAILED - error-text
Cause. The RMS timer driver tried to delete a timer from the timer vartable in
memory, but failed to find an entry for the timer. error-text describes the error.
Effect. The timer is not in the timer vartable. The problem may occur only for the
particular condition; other RMS functions may still be available.
Recovery. Display the Active RMS Timers panel and verify that the timer is not listed.
If the timer is listed on the panel, type P next to the timer and try to purge it. If this
fails, contact your Tandem support representative and provide the following:
Version of RMS that was being used
Details of the events leading up to the display of the error
Copy of RMS database
Copy of activity log
RMS1033 INVALID MSGHANDLER TYPE SUPPLIED ( handler-type ) - MSGHANDLER
TERMINATED
Cause. A user tried to start the message handler NCL procedure ZRMSMGHN but
supplied an invalid message handler type. handler-type is the invalid type value
supplied.
Effect. The message handler is not started.
