RMS1108 *** RULESET( ruleset-name ) RULE( rule-id ) END USER VARIABLE(S)
Cause. A message triggered a message action rule that requested the setting of certain
ruleset variables to specified values. rule-id is the name of the triggered rule, and
ruleset-name is the name of the ruleset that contains the rule.
The message handler sent this narrative message to describe the completion of the
action of setting variables. The Set Defined Variables control option of the ruleset used
is set to B or S to narrate this status. Whether the message handler actually sets the
variables to the specified values depends on this setting.
Effect. If the Set Defined Variables setting is B, the message handler has set the
variables with the values specified in the rule.
If the Set Defined Variables setting is S, then this narrative message only describes the
action that would have been performed—the message handler does not set the value
of any ruleset variables.
Recovery. This message is informational only; no recovery action is necessary.
RMS1109 *** DEFAULT SUPPRESSION ( message-id )
Cause. The message handler read a message and the message did not trigger any
message action rule.
The Delivery Philosophy control option of the ruleset used is set to NEGATIVE, and
the message handler sent this narrative message to describe the action of suppressing
the message. message-id is the first word of the message to be suppressed. The
Default Propagation control option of the ruleset used is set to B or S to narrate this
action. Whether the message handler actually suppresses the message depends on this
setting.
Effect. If the Default Propagation setting is B, the message handler suppresses the
message.
If the Default Propagation setting is S, then this narrative message only describes the
action that would have been performed—the message continues on its normal delivery
path.
Recovery. This message is informational only; no recovery action is necessary.
