A–52 115415 NonStop NET/MASTER RMS Management and Operations Guide
The message handler sent this narrative message to describe the action of checking the
status of the members of the message group rule to determine if the message group
rule should be invoked. The Action Message Group control option of the ruleset used
is set to B or S to narrate this action. Whether the message handler actually checks the
message group rule and executes the rule depends on this setting.
Effect. If the Message Replacement setting is B, the message handler checks the status
of the members of the message group rule. If all the members are triggered and are
still within their trigger life, the message handler executes the message group rule.
If the Message Replacement setting is S, then this narrative message only describes the
action that would have been performed—the message handler neither checks nor
executes the message group rule.
Recovery. This message is informational only; no recovery action is necessary.
RMS1140 *** DEFAULT SOLICITED MESSAGE PROCESSING
Cause. The message handler read a solicited message and the message did not trigger
any message action rule.
The message handler sent this narrative message to describe the action of delivering
the message according to the Delivery Philosophy control option of the ruleset. The
Default Propagation and the Process Solicited Msgs control options of the ruleset used
are set to B or S to narrate this action. Whether the message handler actually delivers
the message according to the Delivery Philosophy control option depends on these
settings.
Effect. If the Default Propagation and the Process Solicited Msgs settings are B, the
message handler delivers the solicited message according to the Delivery Philosophy
control option of the ruleset.
If the settings are S, then this narrative message only describes the action that would
have been performed—the message handler does not process the solicited message
and the solicited message continues on its normal delivery path.
Recovery. This message is informational only; no recovery action is necessary.
