A–54 115415 NonStop NET/MASTER RMS Management and Operations Guide
You may have accessed your NonStop NET/MASTER RMS primary menu panel
by starting the RMS user interface NCL procedure ZRMSMENN from your OCS
window. However, RMS has not been initialized on your system.
The timer driver NCL procedure may have been flushed.
Effect. The Active RMS Timers panel does not appear.
Recovery. Start NCL procedure ZRMSININ to initialize RMS. If the problem persists,
contact your Tandem support representative and provide the following:
Version of RMS that was being used
Details of the events leading up to the display of the error
Copy of RMS database
Copy of activity log
RMS3001 NO ACTIVE TIMERS
Cause. You selected option 3 (Active RMS Timer Control) on your NonStop
NET/MASTER RMS primary menu panel to access the list of active timers, but there
were no active timers at the time of the request.
Effect. The Active RMS Timers panel does not appear.
Recovery. This message is informational only; no recovery action is necessary.
RMS3002 ANOTHER USER IS ACCESSING THIS TIMER, TRY AGAIN LATER
Cause. You typed the S (Select) or P (Purge) action code next to a timer on your Active
RMS Timers panel and pressed ENTER, but another user was already operating on the
timer.
Effect. The timer is not selected or purged.
Recovery. Wait a few minutes, then press F6 to refresh your panel. Repeat the
procedure if the timer is still listed.
RMS3004 ENTER TO CONFIRM TIMER PURGE OR F12 TO CANCEL
Cause. You typed the P (Purge) action code next to one or more of the timers on your
Active RMS Timers panel and pressed ENTER. This action requires your
confirmation.
Effect. The actions requiring confirmation are highlighted.
Recovery. Press ENTER to confirm the action, or F12 to cancel it.
