RMS5206 TRANSFER OF

RECORDS to UDB

COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY
Cause. You transferred a ruleset, and the records of the ruleset, from a source RMS
database to a target RMS database. The number of records,
total-record-count
,
were transferred to the RMS user database,
udb-to-file-id
.
You selected option 5 to transfer rulesets from the Ruleset Maintenance panel. You
specified the source RMS database by entering either the UDB file ID or file name.
You also entered the name of the ruleset to be transferred in the Ruleset Name field.
You specified the target RMS database by entering the UDB file ID or file name. You
pressed F3 to transfer the ruleset.
Alternatively, you issued the ZRMSXFRN command from an OCS window, or called
the NCL procedure ZRMSXFRN from a user NCL procedure, to transfer a ruleset, and
the records of the ruleset, from a source RMS database to a target RMS database.
Effect. The
total-record-count
has been transferred to
udb-to-file-id
. The
transfer of the ruleset to the target RMS database has completed successfully.
Recovery. This message is informational only; no recovery action is necessary.
RMS5207 INVALID FID
udb-file-id
Cause. You tried to transfer a ruleset, and the records of the ruleset, from a source
RMS database to a target RMS database. To transfer the ruleset, you selected either
option 5 from the Ruleset Maintenance panel, issued the ZRMSXFRN command from
an OCS window, or called the NCL procedure ZRMSXFRN from a user NCL
procedure.
The specified
udb-file-id
of the source RMS database, or target RMS database, is
invalid.
Effect. The transfer operation is not performed, and the ruleset is not transferred.
Recovery. Change the
udb-file-id
to a valid UDB file ID and retry the operation.
The UDB file ID is a logical file ID of an open user database in the current NonStop
NET/MASTER system. The UDB file ID is one through eight characters long,
beginning with a character other than a digit. If transferring to the current database,
specify ZRMSDB.
RMS6000 RULE ACTIVATED
Cause. You added or modified a message action rule in a ruleset associated with a
message handler, and saved the rule with the Activation field set to N (Immediate No
Save).
