Effect. The record is saved in the RMS database but is not available to currently
executing message handlers.
Recovery. This message is informational only; no recovery action is necessary.
RMS6017 RULE(S) ALREADY EXIST
Cause. You typed the CP (Copy) action code next to one or more rules or command
groups on your selection list panel, and pressed ENTER to copy the rules or command
groups to another ruleset. You specified the ruleset to copy to in the RULESET NAME
field and NO in the REPLACE field on the inset that appeared, and pressed ENTER to
start copying the rules or command groups. Some of the rules or command groups
already exist in the specified ruleset.
Effect. The rules or command groups that already exist in the specified ruleset are not
copied to that ruleset, and are identified by the string **NOT REPLACED**. (Rules or
command groups that were copied are identified by the string **COPIED**.)
Recovery. If you want to replace the existing rules or command groups in the specified
ruleset, specify YES in the REPLACE field before pressing ENTER to start copying the
rules or command groups.
RMS6018 TIMER DOES NOT EXIST FOR RULESET
ruleset-name
Cause. You were adding or modifying a message action rule or a message group rule
in the ruleset,
ruleset-name
, but the time-based rule in the Activate Timer field on
your System Action panel does not exist in
ruleset-name
. The action you requested
requires either a time-based rule that exists in
ruleset-name
or a blank in the
Activate Timer field.
Effect. The value is not accepted. The action is not performed. The invalid time-based
rule is highlighted.
Recovery. If you have not yet created the time-based rule that you want to activate
from this rule, ensure that the Activate Timer field is blank, finish specifying any other
fields required in the rule, and save the rule by pressing F3. Then create the
time-based rule through the Time-Based Rules Maintenance option (option 6.3 from
the NonStop NET/MASTER RMS primary menu panel), and return to the original
rule. Specify the name of the time-based rule you have just added in the Activate
Timer field, and save the rule.
If the time-based rule that you want to activate does exist but you mistyped its name,
change the name in the Activate Timer field to the correct name before requesting the
action again. You can display the list of time-based rules in the ruleset through the
Time-Based Rules Maintenance option to determine the correct name of the required
time-based rule.
