The subsection “Specifying the Message Action Rule Actions” has been updated. The
RMS : System Action panel segment shows the new NCL Queue field. The subsection
“Specifying an NCL Queue” is new. It describes how to specify an NCL queue for the
message action rule actions.
The subsection “Specifying the Message Group Rule Actions” has been updated. The
RMS : System Action panel segment shows the new NCL Queue field. The subsection
“Specifying an NCL Queue” is new. It describes how to specify an NCL queue for the
message group rule actions.
The subsection “Using Automatic Retry for Rule Action NCL Procedures” has been
updated. It contains additional information about delayed actions.
Section 6 Updating and Maintaining Rulesets, Rules, and Command Groups
The subsection “Transferring Rulesets Between RMS Databases” has been updated.
The former ZRMSXFRN command and ZRMSXFRN procedure call are now called the
RMS XFER command and ZRMSAPIN ( XFER ) procedure call, respectively.

Section 9 Controlling Message Handlers and Rules
The name of the section has been changed from “Controlling Message Handlers and
Timers.”
The subsection “Controlling Message Handlers” has been divided into two
subsections: “Controlling Message Handlers” and the new subsection “Controlling
Message Actions Rules.” Existing information has been reorganized between these
two subsections.
Numerous subsection headings in the subsection “Controlling Message Handlers”
have been changed.
The subsection “Starting a Message Handler by Using the RMS Command Interface”
has been updated. It notes that the SYSPARMS EMSPROC, SYSPARMS LOGPROC,
and PROFILE MSGPROC commands do not always start the specified message
handler.
The subsection “Controlling Message Action Rules” has been updated. Throughout
the subsection, the RMS : Message Action Control panel shows the new
Display/Delete Delayed Message Actions option.
The subsection “Displaying, Freezing, and Deleting Active Subjects” has been
updated. Figure 9-2 has been changed and existing subsections and information have
been reorganized. You can use the RMS DISPLAY ACTIVE command or the
ZRMSAPIN ( GETACTIVE ) procedure call to obtain information about active subjects.
