Recovery. Specify the text (with which the message text is to be compared using the
specified operator) in the corresponding Scan Text field before requesting the action
again. If the operator is LK, you can use the underscore (_) wild-card character to
represent one character and the percent (%) wild-card character to represent zero or
more characters.
If you do not need the test, delete the value in the corresponding Opr field and ensure
that the values in the other fields for the test are also blank.
RMS6125 START POS MUST BE BLANK IF SCAN TEXT IS BLANK
Cause. You specified a value in one of the Start Pos fields but no value in the
corresponding Scan Text field on page 3 of the message action rule definition panels
(third Message Validation panel).
Effect. The value is not accepted. The action is not performed.
Recovery. Specify the text (with which the message text beginning with the position
specified in the Start Pos field is to be compared) in the corresponding Scan Text field
and ensure that there is an operator in the Opr field before requesting the action again.

one character and the percent (%) wild-card character to represent zero or more

ensure that the values in the other fields for the test are also blank.
RMS6126 MUST BE NUMERIC AND IN THE RANGE 1 TO 256 OR BLANK
Cause. You specified an invalid value in one of the Start Pos or Word Num fields on
page 3 of the message action rule definition panels (third Message Validation panel).
The field requires a value in the range 1 through 256 or blank, but the specified value
is neither.
Effect. The value is not accepted. The action is not performed.
Recovery. Change the invalid value to a number in the range 1 through 256 before
requesting the action again. Alternatively, delete the value in the field. If you leave a
Start Pos field blank, the value in the field is assumed to be 1.
RMS6127 WORD NUM MUST BE BLANK IF SCAN TEXT IS BLANK
Cause. You specified a value in one of the Word Num fields but no value in the
corresponding Scan Text field on page 3 of the message action rule definition panels
(third Message Validation panel).
Effect. The value is not accepted. The action is not performed.
