Effect. The action is not performed. The first Rule ID field is highlighted.
Recovery. Specify a value in at least one of the Rule ID fields before requesting the
action again. The values must be valid message action rule names: that is, up to eight
characters, each of which must be an alphanumeric character, @, #, or $.
If you specify the name of a message action rule that does not exist in this ruleset, a
warning message will appear. You can file the message group rule with this
nonexistent rule specified. However, if you want the message group rule to be
effective, you must create the nonexistent message action rule in this ruleset.
RMS6202 MESSAGE GROUP ID ALREADY EXISTS
Cause. While adding a message group rule, you specified the name of a message
group rule that already exists in this ruleset in the Msg Group ID field on your
Message Group Definition panel.
Effect. The value is not accepted. The action is not performed.
Recovery. Change the value in the Msg Group ID field to one that is not the name of an
existing message group rule in this ruleset before requesting the action again. You can
get a list of the existing message group rules in this ruleset through option 2 (Message
Group Rules Maintenance) on the Rule Maintenance panel.
RMS6203 RULE ID HAS NOT BEEN SELECTED FROM SELECTION LIST
Cause. You specified a name in one of the Rule ID fields on your Message Group
Definition panel. The name referred to more than one message action rule in the
ruleset. The Message Action Rule Selection panel appeared, but you exited without
selecting a rule. You must select one of the displayed rules to put the rule you want in
the Rule ID field.
Effect. You are returned to the Message Group Definition panel. The unresolved name
of the message action rule is highlighted.
Recovery. Request the action again. When the Message Action Rule Selection panel
reappears, select the message action rule that you want by typing the S (Select) action
code next to the required rule and pressing ENTER. Press F3 to exit.
RMS6204 WARNING - RULE ID DOES NOT EXIST FOR RULESET
ruleset-name
Cause. You specified the name of a message action rule that does not exist in this
ruleset in one of the Rule ID fields on your Message Group Definition panel.
ruleset-name
is the name of the ruleset on which you were working.
Effect. The action is not performed. The nonexistent name is highlighted.
