RMS7008 PARAMETER OVERRIDE CANCELED AFTER 5 RETRIES
Cause. You selected option 1 (Message Arrival Simulation), option 3 (Capture Msg
Flow and RMS Activity), or option 4 (Simulate RMS Activity on Saved Msg Set) on
your Event Simulation panel. RMS initialized the simulation session and was waiting
for the start of the message handler. RMS was unable to detect the start of the handler
and aborted the simulation session.
Effect. RMS aborts the simulation session.
Recovery. Press F9 to access your other window, and execute the NonStop
NET/MASTER MS SHOW NCL=ALL command to check if the message handler is
executing.
If the handler is executing (meaning that due to heavy system traffic, the handler did
not have time to tell RMS that it had started), restart the simulation session.
Otherwise, check the messages in the NonStop NET/MASTER MS activity log to
obtain further information about the failure.
RMS7010 SIMULATION START SUCCESSFUL
Cause. You selected option 1 (Message Arrival Simulation), option 3 (Capture Msg
Flow and RMS Activity), or option 4 (Simulate RMS Activity on Saved Msg Set) on
your Event Simulation panel. RMS initialized the simulation session and started the
message handler. On the Control Options Definition panels, you pressed F3 to accept
the options. RMS completed successfully the starting of the simulation session.
Effect. The simulation session starts successfully.
Recovery. This message is informational only; no recovery action is necessary.

EVENTS TRIGGERED
Cause. You selected option 2 (Timer Activation Simulation) on your Event Simulation
panel to test the time-based rules in a specified ruleset. On the Event Simulation—
Time-Based Rules panel, you defined your simulated time and pressed F3 to generate
the simulated time event. The event triggered a number of rules in the specified
ruleset.
rule-count
is the number of rules triggered.
Effect. The simulated time is processed by the timer driver and triggers a number of
rules.
Recovery. This message is informational only; no recovery action is necessary.
