NET/MASTER RMS Management and Operations Guide
Exiting RMS Panels
Getting Started
4–4 115415 NonStop NET/MASTER RMS Management and Operations Guide
If you are at a menu panel and want to access a panel that requires you to pass
through a panel higher up in the RMS panel hierarchy, you must precede the path
with the equal sign (=). The = character brings you back to the NonStop
NET/MASTER MS primary menu panel. You can specify this at any => (or ===>)
prompt. For example, if you are in an OCS window and want to create a ruleset,
type =R.5.1 at the command line and press ENTER. Other examples of =>
prompts are the Select Option prompt (Select Option ===>) and the Command
prompt (Command ===>).
You can also specify this type of path specification in the field next to an item on a
selection list panel, with the restriction that the path specification cannot be more
than three characters. In the following example, you typed an equal sign (=) next
to one of the items (NNM0001). Pressing ENTER returns you to the NonStop
NET/MASTER MS primary menu panel.

Note Using path specification from an OCS window closes the window. Also, if you use path specification from
a data entry panel, the specified data is not filed on exit.
Exiting RMS Panels You exit from a menu panel or a selection list panel by pressing either F3 to go to the
next higher level menu panel or F4 to go to the NonStop NET/MASTER RMS primary
menu panel. If you are already on the NonStop NET/MASTER RMS primary menu
panel, pressing either F3 or F4 takes you to the NonStop NET/MASTER MS primary
menu panel. You can also specify a path to jump to another panel.
On panels that display the Command prompt (Command ===>), you can also exit the
panels by typing X at the prompt and pressing ENTER.
You exit from a data entry panel by performing one of the following:
