2. The user has tried a number of times but failed to supply the correct password,
resulting in the following monitor-class message:
NNM0686 USER

FAILED TO PROVIDE CORRECT PASSWORD,
AFTER TRYING

userid
is the ID of the user trying to log on, and
devname
is the device name of
the terminal from which the user is trying to log on.
3. For security reasons, when you receive message NNM0686 on your OCS window,
you want to automatically close the terminal identified in the message. You want
to develop a ruleset to do the following:
Detect message NNM0686.
Extract the device name of the terminal from the message.
Sound an alarm to warn you of the failed logon attempts.
Close the terminal.
Developing the Ruleset Develop your ruleset as follows:
1. Go to the NonStop NET/MASTER MS primary menu panel. If you are not in
NonStop NET/MASTER MS, log on. The NonStop NET/MASTER MS primary
menu panel appears.
2. Type R at the Select Option prompt as on the following panel:
