4. From the Users mapped to this login menu, select the INSTALLER_EDITION_DB database.
From the Database role membership... menu, select the db_datareader and
db_datawriter permissions.
5. Click OK.
Once the above steps are successfully executed, the Windows user should enter their user name
(in the format [domain\user]) and password in the Export Configuration dialog box.
Changing the Default SSH Port
You can change the default SSH port by adding the following setting to mx.properties, which is
the HP SIM properties file:
MX_SSH_PORT
The mx.properties file can be found:
• On a Windows console: C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\config
• On a Linux console: /etc/opt/mx/config
Configuring SSL
SSL (secure sockets layer) must be enabled for OSM to work with HP SIM. It is enabled by default
in OSM T0682 H02 ADD (and later) and also for all NonStop BladeSystems. For other systems
using an earlier version of OSM, enable SSL by adding the following parameter to your OSMCONF
