information in the HP SIM for NonStop Manageability guide.

• Version -005 of this manual was updated for NonStop Cluster Essentials release 2.3.0, which
included support for:
◦ Using a remote SQL server database configuration
◦ Exporting data from the Consistency Check tables on the NonStop Cluster Software
Version Check page to .CSV (Comma Separated Value) file format for use in Microsoft
Excel.
◦ Updated “Windows Console Requirements” (page 9).
◦ Support for the CMS being a physical server running Windows and Linux directly on a
virtual server running Windows or Linux on a VM (see “Console Requirements” (page 9)).
• Version -004 of this manual was updated in support of NonStop Cluster Essentials release
2.2.0. In addition to updated requirements for HP SIM, Java Runtime Environment, and
compatible HP NonStop I/O Essentials versions, this manual adds a step to “Installing the
Client Components” (page 15) on a Windows CMS to ensure that the “auto-close” option in
SQL database is turned off.
• Version -003 of this manual was updated in support of NonStop Cluster Essentials release
2.1.0. Changes included:
◦ Support for “Installing NonStop Cluster Essentials on a Linux CMS” (page 18).
◦ Support for “Changing the Default SSH Port” (page 33).
• Version -002 of this manual was updated in support of NonStop Cluster Essentials release
2.0, which added support for NonStop clusters containing HP NonStop S-series servers (in
addition to, or instead of, the other supported systems).
