k) Obeys

STRTPE to start Performance Essentials agents by starting the

following processes:

Process Manager, Process Metrics Collector, CPU Metrics Collector,

Collator, and other Measure specific collectors.

l) To install the NonStop Agent EMS templates which cause Performance

Essentials Agent generated messages to show up with the NonStop Agent

SSName (instead of the SSID), please refer to Section on Installing

NonStop Agent EMS Template.

3. Use STOPPE to stop and STRTPE to start the PE agents, if required.

NOTE: If the node does not have CLIMs installed, then comment or delete the

STOP commands for PECIP and PECLIM

4. To ensure that the PE Agent restarts automatically after a Cold Load of the

NonStop system, add the STRTPE file to the list of startup obey files.
